Barbara’s Arrangements
Use the following information as a guideline for scheduling Barbara Vernoski these are the standard arrangements, but if needed, we will always try our best to work within your budget restrictions. You may partner with other church, ministries or business. To share some of the expenses.
Accommodations/ Meals
I am a very laid back no fluff person. Remember I am a mom of 7 and going with the flow is a why of life. I am willing to stay in homes for lodging to save you expense of hotel and lodging. I am here to serve you not be served.
If overnight stay is required. I have no problem staying in someone’s home and eating home cooked meals. To save your group money.
Payment
Honorarium or Love Offering plus expenses. Speaking fees are contingent upon several factors, the number of speaking sessions, and the length of time for the scheduled event(s).
Expenses include: meals, travel time/mileage and if needed lodging.
Travel Arrangements
Airfare-Some air travel for me is free.
Don’t mine having someone pick me up from the airport. To save on Rent-a-Car
If I drive $.32/per mile for driving to event plus tolls.
Weekend Seminar & Retreats & Convention For all day sessions or weekend events, fees will vary depending upon the number and length of speaking sessions.
*Please note: Barbara’s will need a product/merchandise table set-up in an adjacent section of the presentation room. A table attendant may be required by the Sponsor to assist before and after the presentation.
Barbara has been through the storms........ Her willingness to share her heartache through humor and tears opens many people's ears to truly hear about Jesus and to want him in their life. You will be touched with Barbara’s honesty and her feelings of the "Why me Lord" and "I don't understand Lord" places that we have all been. She has found the answers to these questions in the presence of God and His truths. What a blessing she will bring to your church or Ladies Group. Her sessions will make you laugh, cry and will touch your heart. Her purpose and desire is to show people that we can be Restored in all circumstances through JESUS CHRIST.

Things To Consider When Planning An Event
Decide:
What is the best time of year and date to have your event. Keep in mind...September beginning of School, June end of school graduations, weddings etc.
Who are You Trying To Reach
What is the goal or mission or your Event?
Educational
Out reach
Inspirational
Fellow-ship
It could be a combination of all.
Who is your target Audience?
This will help with your advertising. Where do you need to advertise and how?
If it is an outreach event you will not want to have a Big Cross on the front of your invitations.
If it is an outreach event. You can pick a target group to invite, teachers, military wives, leaders, moms.
What is the best way to reach people and tell them about your event?
What does your Timeline look Like?
Make a timeline for getting the PreEvent jobs accomplished. When would you like to have the advertising done? Place secured? Speaker or Special Event guest secured?
Give the speakers and everyone involved a timeline of events so everyone is on the same page.
What would be the best place to have your Event?
What is your budget?
How Many People Do You want to Attend Your Event?
How are people going to sign-up for Your Event?
To get close to your count subtract 10% of the reservations.
Have people prepay...if money is involved up-front people tend to show-up and you will have close to an accurate count.
Give people an incentive for registering early or if they bring people.
What are the Responsibilities that need to get done and who will do them?
Have people volunteer publicly so they are accountable for the job and make sure you praise publicly also. People like to be appreciated.
Break the jobs up into small chunks....so everyone is doing a little...also someone who has the buy-in will be more apped to invite friends to a function they have put time into.
Who is going MC your event and introduce the Speaker?
Do you need accommodations for the Speaker?
What food or snacks are going to be served?
What is your theme?

Assign someone to be on the look out for people that are new and make them feel welcome to the group.

Download Flyer from my site...fill-in, Place, time, Date and your organization. Print some for flyers and brochures also us as a PDF attachment and send out through email
Connect with other organization,groups or churches..It could also be a way to share some of the cost of the event.
What would be your last minute details and who will do them?

Assign someone to greet the speakers and answer any questions they might have. This leave the Event Coordinator free to take care of last minute details and at events there always are some.
