God speaks to us all the time in many ways, but we seldom stop and listen. How can we hear God’s voice in the midst of today’s busy World? The elements of heading the Word, enduring through though times, adoring God as a part of everyday life, and relinquishing your will to the Lord are covered in this session.
“Healthy Relationships”
Those we’re closest to in life often are the people we have the most conflict with. Emotionally damaging events, disappointments, and difficulties are a part of life. If we aren’t able to heal and RESTORE relationships, we carry detrimental pain and miss out on may blessings. This session will discuss repairing torn relationships and maintaining healthy ones.

We do this through our services, that Equip, Train and Serve. Restoring Life Today™, Restoration Coaching™, Restoration Speaking™ and Restoration Strategist™ are techniques that have been acquired through a collaboration of studies, research and life experiences. With God’s leadership and your help, I have had the honor to led many conferences, retreats and have appear on TV and radio. Restoring Life Today™, have partnered with leaders, politicians, pastors, doctors, hospitals, businesses, churches, ministries and Individuals.
My life story is a combination of *Joni Erickson Tada, Beth Moore, Carol Kent and Tammy Faye Baker...minus the mascara LOL! I guess after winning Mrs. New Jersey AQ 2008, 4 years ago...you could include the mascara.
From the outside I looked like I had it all. We were a beautiful, sunshine homeschooling, church going family, with 7 gorgeous kids. I was married to a handsome, former F-16 top-gun fighter pilot and Air Force Academy Grad. My homemaking skills were like Martha Stewart on speed. I made home cooked-meals with blue ribbon home grown can goods. On top of it all I made matching home spun clothes for my kids. My home looked like the pages of, “Better Homes and Gardens.” I know you want to puke...Me too. But underneath it all, I was a scared little girl. I felt like a human-doing, instead of a human-being and nothing I ever did measured up.
When my kids were little, our family played a guessing game called: “Who am I"? They would give clues and we all would guess what they were pretending to be. The kids changed the name to: “What I am?” If you think about it, this question is, an extraordinarily probing and a direct question. “What I am” and “What I think I am?” Can shape our entire Belief System and ultimately our lives.
For me personally, “What I am,” WAS a multiple trauma survivor, beaten down by a myriad of multiple rejections. Filled with family dysfunction, mired by emotional, physical, sexual and spiritual abuse. I survived many near death experiences. I dealt with unbelievable heartache with children, including the birth of my daughter who is paralyzed. I was betrayed on many levels, by many people. One betrayal being serial marital infidelity. “What I am” and what I thought about myself was so entirely contrary to what God believes about me. I could not change the past, but I could change how I thought about the past. I could not change the abuse, but I can choose to forgive and to receive God’s healing.
How do you handle all of this? Minute-by-minute and day-by-day we have to choose to restore our minds, we have to take EVERY thought captive, because our negative thoughts can sneak up on us. God’s words from the Bible can replace our thoughts. God says, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways, ways of the Lord." (Isaiah 55:8) You have to CHOOSE to change, and then CHOOSE to go in a new direction.
Restoring our minds is not a one-time event; it is a way of life that you CHOOSE daily and is an ongoing process. Guarding your mind takes training, discipline, and diligence. Restoring Life Today™ is here to walk along side you and to make available to you both resources and direction so you can develop your own Restoration Strategies™. ONLY you can choose to no longer be a victim and create a new way of thinking.
